This walking tour includes sightseeing through the Old Town of Dubrovnik where there are material traces of the restoration of the city after the Homeland War (1991/1995). It provides the brief introduction to the history of Croatian war for the independence which was a part of Yugoslavia break up. Dubrovnik became the front line of this war in 1991 and for almost 8 months the town was besieged and constantly bombed.
On a request it can include a cable car ride to the Mountain Srđ over the city and a visit to the Homeland War Museum situated in the Fort Imperial on the top of the mountain. The additional attraction will be a fantastic panoramic view over the city and the surrounding area. Furthermore the tour is lead by a guide who has been in the city during the siege.
