Dubrovnik Islands Walking Break

This hiking holiday will show you stunning sceneries and landscapes of the Dubrovnik Archipelago. It is perfect for those who like to enjoy the great outdoors on foot, no matter the age. The daily walking routes will take you to Kolocep and Lopud islands. They are not too long or too strenuous, and at almost every point you will be able to enjoy a refreshing swim break. We will stay in 3* family run guesthouses in a secluded village of Sipan Island.
Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan belong to the Elaphiti Islands archipelago – 13 green islands covered by pine forests, free of traffic, with lots of sunshine and sandy beaches, and under an hour from Dubrovnik. They are not just places of incredible natural beauty, but also open air museums of history, art, architecture and folklore. Our experienced local guides will avoid overcrowded destinations ensuring you get the most authentic experience.

Itinerary

1.Arrival to Sipan
Our meeting point is Gruz harbor where you will take a ferry to Sipan island, to a charming and picturesque Sipanska Luka village on the secluded side of the island. Enjoy your day exploring this natural paradise, swim in its clear sea or enjoy cozy waterfront restaurants where one can savor Croatian and Dalmatian specialties. Traditional guesthouse in Sipanska Luka village will be our base for this holiday.
2. Kolocep Island Hiking
In the morning right after our breakfast we take the local ferry in the morning and visit Kolocep Island, extremely interesting for its dramatic scenery with rocky beaches, high cliffs and colorful reefs. Walk through Gornje Celo and Donje Celo, well preserved romantic Mediterranean villages, and along high cliffs.
3.Lopud Island Walk
On our day three we start our day by discovering Lopud island. Lopud is an island with lots of sunshine, sandy beaches and palm trees, free of traffic.The only town on the island has no more than a couple of hundred permanent residents.
4. Departure
Time permitting, you can explore secluded parts of Sipan Island or you can return to Dubrovnik. This is the end of your holiday.
