We start by passing the Catania waterfront, from where we can see the stacks of Acitrezza

Stop At: Mount Etna, 95030 Catania, Sicily Italy

Trekking (medium / easy level, about 300 meters in altitude) along a path that, passing through a characteristic undergrowth first and then lunar landscapes, leads to an altitude of about 2300 meters

Stop At: Valle Del Bove, 95019 Zafferana Etnea, Sicily Italy

When you reach an altitude of about 2,300 meters, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the south-east crater overlooking the Valle del Bove, an ancient volcanic caldera

Walk on one of the ancient craters. Later visit to one of the lava flow caves along the route.
