You begin our hike to the Everest base camp with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla equipped with all necessary permits and trekking gears. Everest Base Camp Trek offers you a chance to view world’s highest peak up-close. It is no doubt this trekking demands determination to trek but end result will take all your stress out. You get to experience lifestyle in high altitude places, hear about mountains and faith in Buddhism from world famous Sherpa. It also offers you chance to visit a beautiful village Namche Bazaar, the Sagarmatha National Park, the mightiest viewpoint of Kalapatthar and the Everest Base Camp itself. Furthermore, you reach Tengboche Monastery which is the highest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal and come close to four of the world’s six tallest peaks.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (Altitude 1400 m)

Day 02: Fly to Lukla, 8 KM trek to Phakding (2,651 m)

40-minute flight will take you to Lukla. Our trek will begin from Lukla to Phakding. 

Day 03: 11 KM trek to Namche Bazaar (3,438 m)

You proceed through the trail north up the valley of Benkar to Namche  Bazaar.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

You spend your day at Namche Bazaar acclimatizing. You see traditional life of Sherpas, enjoy flora and fauna found at such high altitude. 

Day 05: 10 KM trek to Tengboche (3,870 m)

You descent to the Dudh-Koshi River and ascent along the rhododendron forests to Tengboche. You enjoy the views of mountain tops and visit Tengboche monastery.

Day 06: 9 KM trek to Dingboche (4,360 m)

You descent through forests filled with a variety of lush trees. It reward you with a more pristine view of the Himalayas and the Pangboche Monastery. The trek moves ahead towards Dingboche. 

Day 07: Acclimatization Day – Dingboche

Dingboche a beautiful village, popular stop for trekkers and climbers. You take day hike to either Nagarjun Hill or Chukkhung Valley for great views of peaks.

Day 08: 7 KM trek to Lobuche (4940 m)

You climb to Duglha at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, climb up a steep trail to Chupki Lhara. You walk to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, view several great peaks closely and to the Lobuche valley. 

Day 09: 13KM Trek to Gorak Shep (5,170 m) and visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)

You take the trail to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, you see tents of mountaineers that stand out in bright colors against the monotony of gray surroundings. You get back to Gorak Shep for a good night’s rest. 

Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) to 16 KM trek to Pheriche (4,288 m)

You can see beautiful peaks as you go and reach Kala Patthar, where you see up-close views of Mt. Everest. You can enjoy panaromic view of mountain. 

Day 11: 20 KM trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

You cross the prayer-flag festooned bridge, you walk through the Dudh Koshi gorge descending rapidly through pine forests.

Day 12: 19 KM trek to Lukla (2,860 m)

You descend downward cautiously on the steep trail and the rocky terrain.

Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
