Sethan village (1 hour)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Manali in the morning and driven to the quaint little village of Sethan. The drive to Sethan village goes past some beautiful mountain scenery. This tiny Buddhist village is home to 20-30 families who migrated from Tibet. You can get some panoramic views of the surrounding Dhauladhar mountain ranges from here. In the winters the village is covered with snow and deserted as most of its inhabitants move to the lower altitude towns for the winter months.

Hampta Valley (4 hours)

From Sethan village, trek through pine and oak woods that open up to a picturesque valley. The rough mountain is home to Griffins. The whole valley is carpeted with wild flowers in the spring. Spend the next few hours walking around the delightful Hampta Pass. Take in the views of the majestic mountains and go out as far as you can. The trek to Hampta Valley is one of the easiest treks in the Himalayas.
