Itinerary

Day 1: Jerash and Ajloun Castle

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Travel north in your air-conditioned vehicle and absorb the views over the passing towns and desert landscapes. Then, on arrival in Jerash, head into this archaeological jewel through the ancient city gate. Jerash founded by Alexander the Great in the 2nd century AD and known as Gerasa, this provincial city was one of the wealthiest in the Roman Empire. Stroll around as your guide (If Hired) tells you fascinating stories about the city in its heyday. See its arches, theatres and magnificent colonnaded street, and take photos of the Oval Plaza, an intriguing oval-shaped forum, as you conjure up images of the people who once lived here. After your walking tour finishes, return to the vehicle and travel back to Amman or Petra.

Stop At: Ajloun Castle, Ajloun National Park, Jerash 26173 Jordan
The castle is set on top of Mount ‘Auf and provides visitors with astonishing views of the Jordan Valley.

Day 2: Petra - Wadi Rum

Stop At: Petra Visitors Center, Tourism Street, Petra - Wadi Musa Jordan
Upon arrival, visit the Rose city of Petra. Walk through the 1200m (2/3 mile) Siq canyon to see the famous rock-carved Treasury, the Street of Facades, passed the Theatre and down the Roman Street and have a panoramic view of the Royal Tombs. There will be time to visit more of the site on your own (maybe the Monastery which is around 900 steps).

Stop At: Wadi Rum, Wadi Rum, Al Aqabah Governorate
Wadi Rum ("Valley of the Moon") is where the legendary film "Lawrence of Arabia" was filmed. Marvel at the unique shape of the mountain as it rises from the rose-red sand of the desert. See towering cliffs of brownish, reddish and golden colours.

Day 3: Wadi Rum and Dead Sea

Two hours Jeep tour with the Bedoiuns to explore and discover Wadi Rum.

Go through Aqaba city on the way to Deadsea

Stop At: Dead Sea, Jordan
