Itinerary
If you prefer the Anthony Bourdain style of travel- experiencing local drinking culture, eating good food, drinking at some hidden watering holes outside of touristy Old Quarter, and talking about everything (history, sports, politics, culture, literature), then this is the tour for you:
- Visit the most special, hidden Bia Hơi place in Hanoi, only opens 2 hours a day from 4.30pm. We will taste the best Bia Hơi in Hanoi, discover beer history of this city, find out how Bia Hơi replaces Rượu (Vietnamese traditional rice wine) to be the drink that represent Hanoi culture.
- Secondly, we will go to a Bia Hơi place which was an anti aircraft base during Vietnam war and try their famous crispy pork belly and tasty beer.
- After that we continue our journey to meet my most favourite street chef in town, taste his very special food (fish spring rolls for example) and some homemade plum or apricot rice wine.
