Exploring Vicentina West Coast

Discover the beautiful villages and beaches of Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Our journey begins in Aljezur with a visit to a 10th century Moorish Castle with a stunning view over the countryside. Towards West, we stop at deserted beaches of wild beauty – Praia dos Montes Clérigos and Praia do Amado. At Arrifana you will have the option of a boat trip –an opportunity to look at the magnificent and rugged cliffs of Vicentina West Coast from the Ocean perspective or simply enjoy the beach –boat not included. We continue to a typical village once in ruins, today an example of sustainable reconstruction. We finish with a photo stop at the End of the World –Cape St. Vincent.

Stop At: Castle of Aljezur, Rua do Castelo, Aljezur 8670-075 Portugal

We start in the morning to discover the most beautiful villages and beaches of Costa Vicentina Natural Park. On the top of the hill the walls of a 10th century Arabah Castle we discover a small village between the mountains and the sea.

Following the road towards South, we stop at desert beaches of wild beauty – Praia dos Montes Clérigos.

Stop At: Arrifana Beach, Aljezur 8670 Portugal

At Arrifana beach we find a small fishing port with a dozen of artisanal fishing boats. It is possible to go on a boat trip along the coast – optional 1 hour boat trip – not included in the price, enjoy the beach and jump in the water or simply have a nice snack overlooking the ocean – not included

Imposing and rugged cliffs overlook the great ocean – Praia do Amado.

Stop At: Cape Saint Vincent, Estrada Cabo de Sao Vicente En 268, Sagres 8650-390 Portugal

We continue towards to Pedralva typical village that was in ruins, today an example of sustainable reconstruction. On the way, back we stop by the End of the World – Cape St. Vincent.
