The three centuries of the Este domination, when the court of Ferrara was among the most refined and cultured in Europe, without having canceled the medieval Romanesque Gothic grandeur, have left a profoundly humanistic imprint in the city among churches, castles, delights and palaces wonderfully frescoed. Not to mention the flowering of an elegant and refined gastronomy that continues to delight the palates and tables of Ferrara.

Itinerary

The itinerary begins with a visit to Palazzo Diamanti and the large green spaces of the Addizione Erculea, the heart of the Renaissance city. He proceeds with a visit to the Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral from the great Renaissance apse, with the entrance in the courtyard of the Marchionale Palace, then continuing towards the Estense Castle. The visit ends with the evocative Via delle Volte and the Jewish ghetto.
