Fes to Fes 2 days via Merzouga desert tour

The departure from Fez is at 8:00 AM. Our professional driver takes you along the Atlas mountains.
On your way, you will pass by some Berber villages like Imouzzer (1200 m of altitude). This village is inhabited by the famous Berber tribe of "Zayanes" whose main occupation is agriculture.
Afterwards, a stop is necessary in Ifrane (1650 m of altitude). It looks like a small Swiss town and it is famous for its Ski Resort of Michlifen. Not much further you will enjoy a walk in the Cedar Forest. This is known for being the home of the North African monkey (the famous Barbary macaque).
The next step is a break in Midelt for lunch. It is a quite Berber town located at the foot of the High Atlas.
This place is famous for its fossils and minerals.
After the lunch you will notice a dramatic change in landscapes as our professional driver will take you to the other side of the High Atlas. Errachidia is already located in the desert...
