Fez to Chefchaouen Day tour will start with you being picked up at 8.00 AM from your accommodation in Fez. After boarding your private vehicle, you will make your way towards Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains near Tangier. Upon arrival, you can marvel at the incredible blue walls that make this town famous. You will have about 5-hours to explore the picturesque small city streets of the medina. As this is a private tour, you have the luxury to decide how you would like to spend your time and there are many activities to choose from. You can discover the local shops and cafes and see the main square known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam. To experience some culture you may wish to head to the Kasbah Museum, the Grand Mosque or the Ethnographic Museum which contains musical instruments, antique weapons, and photographs of the old town. You can also stop off at the Ras Elma river that runs through the old city.

Chefchaouen (The bleue City) It’s a peaceful city located in Morocco’s Rif Mountains, founded by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa in 1471 as a shelter for exiles from Spain.The most important attraction of the city lies in it’s extreme simplicity associated with an indescribable beauty, its narrow alleyways, ancient neighborhoods and the blue color that covers it entirely, make of it an excellent touristic destination.

However our excursion covers the city’s most important highlights such as the iconic Kasbah, where we will visit the ethnographic museum which is considered to be the most noticeable cultural landmark in the city,Take a stroll through the maze-like Medina’s blue streets and proceed toward the local market area to take the best glimpse into the authentic local culture.

We can’t pass by Chefchaouen without enjoying some of the tastiest traditional cuisine in one of the best terraces in the city accompanied by the exquisite sunset behind the mountains.
