Itinerary
Meeting with a private tourist guide qualified in Florence, for an original tour in its historic center, in order to discover crimes, plots, murders, conspiracies and acts of violence that marked the city between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Before starting the walk, you will taste a "Bloody Mary cocktail" and you will be introduced to a particular historical period: from the struggles between Guelphs and Ghibellines to the Pazzi conspiracy, from the hanging and from the pole of Girolamo Savonarola to the most criminal member of the Medici family. During the tour you will appreciate the history of the "dark side" of the beautiful city of Florence, admiring some famous places and others less known: the Palazzo del Bargello, once a prison, the statue of Perseus with the head of Medusa by Benvenuto Cellini under the Loggia dei Lanzi, the "acculata" stone, where insolvent debtors were chained to a stake and beaten repeatedly at the bare buttocks and much more ...
