Looking to learn more about cultural heritage and ancient Colombian traditions? Look no further! Our Flowers & Farmers Tour is our most traditional by far, principally because of who we feature on it: the silleteros, or the flower farmers that cultivate and arrange the flowers into silletas. Coming to visit these gentle souls is a bit like traveling in time since they are known as the keepers of Colombian customs.

As a perfect start to our day, traversing the forest in a cable car is nothing short of magical. Soaring over the dense greenery will transport you to another world and leave the city far behind you. Upon arrival to the farm, we’ll settle in a bit as we will spend most of our day here. You’ll learn about the process from start to finish. We’ll see the endless fields of flowers and learn about their cultivation. After that, our new friends will show us an array of different arrangement styles that they create and tell us more about the process and its backstory.

You will have the opportunity to go to a traditional flower farm with guidance from a resident farmer. Various types of silletas (flower sculptures) will be shown at the farm. Finally, enjoy the breathtaking views of landscapes.
