By booking our fishing charters you are booking with a company that has owned and operated fishing boats in Costa Rica for 25 years. Our captain of La Patrona, a 36 ft Sportfisher, is Jose. Jose has 25 years of experience fishing the waters in the Pacific of Costa Rica. Captain Gerardo learned to sport fish from his father, who was also a professional and commercial sport fisher. Our mates are fabulous and ensure all clients are comfortable on board. No matter what you are fishing for, our team can cater to your experience.

Itinerary

Our Full Day Fishing Charter from Los Suenos and Jaco Costa Rica is the perfect fishing trip for anglers looking to catch Big Game. We start your charter by cruising to the fishing grounds, one hour and 25 miles offshore to our Captains favourite fishing marker. During Full Day trips, you have the time to hit the 25-mile marker where the Big Game fish such as Marlins, Sailfish and Mahi Mahi are hiding around debris or artificial reefs.

On full day fishing trips, you can combine inshore, offshore, and bottom fishing.

Inshore is especially a great option if you are coming to Costa Rica to catch the elusive Rooster Fish.
