Day Trip to Lake Takerkoust ,Asni and Ourika Valley from Marrakech

On this journey to the Moroccan high mountains from Marrakech. explore the Ourika Valley by an off-road vehicle. Learn how to make Moroccan fresh tea and breakfast in a traditional Berber home with local Berber women, and discover the Berber lifestyle and culture. Continuing our trip through the rugged trails of Ourika Valley, and enjoy the natural landscapes including the waterfalls of Setti Fatma. After lunch, ride through the valley of Asni-Tahanaout and stop by the Kik Plateau to take amazing pictures over the High Atlas Mountains.

Stop At: Ourika Valley, Ourika Morocco

Picking you up at 9 am from your accommodation in Marrakech, our destination through the way to the Ourika valley waterfalls you will enjoy panoramic views over the Berber villages and beautiful landscapes in the background. We stop at a traditional Berber home, you will be hosted by MALIKA a Berber woman who will kindly teach you how to prepare Moroccan fresh tea and bread and show you the Berber lifestyle and culture and gain insight into life outside the city. You will have an option to do a short camel ride. Afterward, you will meet your local guide and you will hike along winding trails through the Ourika Valley, and discover top natural attractions such as the waterfalls of Setti Fatma in a period of 1 hour.

Stop At: Asni, Morocco

Enjoy your lunch in a riverside restaurant, then head on through the valley of Asni-Tahanaout for wonderful views over the High Atlas Mountains, and enjoy the panoramic view at a height of 1400m then we head to the high Kik plateau to discover the magnificent landscape and the exotic setting. On our way back to Marrakech we will pass through the Lala-Takerkoust dam.
