Full-Day Marlborough Catamaran Cruise with Wine Tour and Lunch

Experience 'The Ultimate Marlborough Day Out', on this full day, small group tour.

In the morning enjoy a scenic cruise through the Queen Charlotte Sound, aboard a catamaran and get to see the historic Ship Cove, where Captain Cook anchored way back in 1770. Returning to shore around 12.30pm, you will then be taken to a winery to have a single main course lunch with a glass of wine of your choice. 

After lunch you will get to visit a couple more wineries with a chance to try some more of the wines produced here. This is while you are relaxing, savouring and enjoying this beautiful Marlborough region.

We invite you to have 'The Ultimate Marlborough Day Out'. After picking you up from your accommodation, your morning is spent with a cruise on the Marlborough Sounds, then back on shore for a lunch stop at a winery and followed with a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting in the Marlborough wine region

The cruise part of the day out, departs at 9:00am. You will cruise from Picton up through the Queen Charlotte Sound to historical Ship Cove. Along the way your skipper will provide a commentary on the surrounds, history and the wildlife be it birds, fish or mammals 

There will be a chance to disembark, with a 20 minute stopover, at Ship Cove. This was named by Captain Cook, when in 1770 his ship, The Endeavour, anchored there to replenish supplies. It became a favourite anchorage for him and he returned there a further four times. 

Take this opportunity to dabble in the creek where Cook made home brew for his crew and share the beach with the resident wildlife. 

On returning to Picton at around 12:30 we will take you for a single course lunch, with a wine, of your choice, at one of Marlborough’s boutique wineries. While your main course is being prepared, the winery, will give the opportunity to try some of their wines.

 After your lunch you will get to visit a couple more wineries with a chance to try some more of the wines produced here, while your  relaxing, savouring and enjoying this beautiful Marlborough region.

 

At the end of the tour we will return you to your accommodation and hope you have had a great day out in Marlborough.
