A splendid way to get to know the Mother City intimately, starting with a hike on the geographical formation which guards her – Table Mountain. After lunch (to own account), explore the history, architecture and culture which makes Cape Town the colourful and vibrant city it is today. Note: If the cable car is not operational on the day, and depending on clients’ fitness levels, the walk would be adapted accordingly.

Stop At: Table Mountain National Park 8001 South Africa

Hike up a deep ravine on the iconic front face of the mountain, exploring all the depth and beauty this geographical landmark has to offer. Traverse the length of the famous table top summit to Maclears Beacon for more great views.

Stop At: Bo-kaap, Cape Town Central South Africa

Once you descend the mountain by cable car (weather permitting), transfer to the colourful Bo-Kaap where you will enjoy a traditional lunch (to own account) while learning about the contribution of the Cape Malay people to South Africa’s, and Cape Town’s heritage.

In the heart of the city enjoy a short walk through the Company Gardens. From squirrels to a variety of plant life, it’s just a happy place to soak up some ‘Cape Town vibes’ and enjoy the aviaries and fishponds.

Stop At: Iziko Slave Lodge, Corner of Adderley and Wale Streets, Cape Town Central 8000 South Africa

On the Wale Street end of the garden step inside the Slave Lodge which explores the history of these unwilling immigrants and how they have contributed to the richness and diversity of South African history. As you drive through the city you shall get a feel for the cultural melting pot that it is.
