FULL DAY (Sillustani, Lampa and Pucara)

The tour lasts approximately 9 hours. It starts at 8:00 a.m. Everything is planned in detail for each visit in the archaeological centers. The tour ends at 5:00 p.m.

The tour begins with the pick-up of the hotels.

8:00 am I pick up from the hotels and then go to the archaeological center of Sillustani. The archaeological site of Sillustani is located 34 km away from the city of Puno (22.3 miles - 35 minutes by car) and at a height of 3.840mts (12,858 feet) above sea level. Sillustani is strategically located on the top of a peninsula surrounded by a beautiful lagoon called Laguna Umayo. This archaeological site was a cemetery built in the 13th century by a civilization that occupied this region before the Inka domination. The builders of these imposing burial towers are known as the Kolla people or nation. The most imposing burial towers were built for the most powerful chiefs and priests.

11:30 approximately, after that we will take the road to the city of Lampa passing through the city of Juliaca.

12:00 guided visit to the city of lampa in the same way to the catacombs and replica of Miguel Angel and library of the municipality of lampa. 1:00 pm arrival to the city of pucara where we will have a lunch and then visit the complex Archaeological site of Pucara cradle of the high Andean civilization. 5:00 pm Return to and arrival in the city of Puno leaving the clients in their respective hotels..
