Full-Day Small-Group Tour to Fátima and Óbidos and Nazaré

Pickup time is between 8:30 am and 9 am. With your small group of just eight travelers, climb into the air-conditioned minivan and set out for Fátima, located approximately 1.5 hours away. Once you arrive, you'll begin exploring the Sanctuary of Fátima, which is a collection of church buildings. Attend a ceremony there and then explore more of the town (purchase lunch at a recommended nearby restaurant), then travel to Batalha and visit the monastery. Next head to Nazaré. Learn about the monstrous waves, some of which can reach 100 feet (29 meters), that make this location very popular with local surfers and other thrill-seekers. The day's last stop is the medieval town of Óbidos, where you can walk through the cobbled streets and check out the centuries-old walls. Along the way, your guide will fill you in on the culture, history, and legends related to each stop. You'll get plenty of personalized attention since you're touring with such a small group.
