Depart from the Port of Kotor after meeting with your private guide at your preferred departure time. From there you will head to Cetinje, the Royal Capital of Montenegro. This city is located in a field under the mountain Lovcen. Because of its authentic architecture and a large number of historic buildings, monasteries, churches, and museums, this city was named "Museum City". Here, you will take a short walk through Cetinje, where you will see the most important historical sites of Old Montenegro. Next, you and your guide will drive through the rocky mountains to the traditional village of Njeguši, which is located between Cetinje and Kotor. You will stop at a 134-year-old restaurant called Kod Pera na Bukovicu, where you'll have the opportunity to taste local products such as smoked ham, cheese, and grape brandy. With the family that owns and operates it today, you will take a tour of the smokehouse and learn the process of making smoked ham. On the road back to Kotor, you will make a few stops for photos of the stunning view of Boka Bay. Upon returning to Kotor, a walking tour of the Old Town will begin. There, you will spend an hour seeing the old 12th Century Cathedral, as well as beautiful squares and palaces. Kotor is a small fortified town with narrow streets and many old churches. By the end, you will be familiar with its history and importance during past centuries. Your tour will last approximately 7-hours and return to its original departure point.
