Fun Dives For Certified Divers

At our TRINCOMALEE DIVING CENTRE we have Dive Sites with different depth from 6 to 30 m we offer Reef Dives, Rock Dives, Wreck Dives and Night Dives.

At the reefs, you can find over 1,000 species, Eagle Rays, Blue Spotted Stingrays, Turtles, Cuttlefish, Baracuda, Trevally, Soldier Fish, Surgeon Fish, Fusiliers, Lion Fish, Sea Stars and many more.

Over 200 species of hard corals and a vast array of beautiful soft corals Sometimes you can also see, mostly at the month from April to June, Whale Sharks, Reef Sharks, and Mantas, but these are really seldom.

The shallow dive sites around the Pigeon Island Marine Park are mostly covered by hard and soft corals with a lot of different coral fishes and for sure Black Tip Reef Sharks and turtles in the shallow parts of the coral reef.

For Pigeon Island you have to pay an Entrance Fee of 15,- Euros.

Itinerary

One FUN DIVE (one boat ride with one boat dive at one dive spot) and two FUN DIVES (one boat ride with two dives at two different dive spots with a surface interval on the boat) with own or rental dive equipment (BCD, Regulator, Mask, Fins, Wetsuit). Tank, weights and guide free of charge.
Our morning dives start every day at 9 am and our afternoon dive(s) start every day at 2 pm.

For the morning dive(s), you have to be at our Diving Centre at 8.30 am for registration. You will be back from the dive(s) at around 10.30 am / 12.30 pm depending on number of dives and distance of the dive sites.

For the afternoon dive(s) you have to be at our Diving Centre at 1.30 pm for registration. You will be back from the dive(s) at around 3.30 pm / 5 pm depending on number of dives and distance of the dive sites.

We are diving usually in a small group of max. 5 divers!

We have five diving boats with environmently friendly four stroke Yamaha
outboard engines for max. 5 divers, one dive guide and one boatman.

In general, we provide 12 l Aluminium tanks with INT & DIN valves.

NITROX at our NILAVELI DIVING CENTRE is free of charge!
