Galilean Cooking Workshop

A Galileat cooking workshop that allows you to learn about the cultures of the Galilee region through cooking with your hosts, in their kitchen. It is fun, informative and very tasty. There is no better way to experience a slice of village life in the Galilee, whilst learning to cook great new dishes. You will arrive home having met a real family in the Galilee, learned a little of their culture and food and seen a side of Israel that you would otherwise not have been able to see.

We will be hosted by a Druze family, where we will have introductions to the family and explanations into the Druze beliefs and culture. We will then move into the kitchen and cook, hands-on, for 1.5 hours, after which we will sit and consume the great meal we have prepared.

• rolled grape leaves - We will learn to prepare the filling then stuff and roll grape leaves, just like a local.
