Stop At: Arvalem, Goa, India

This is a monolithic cave cut in laterite rock. Experience the magnificent beauty of laterite rocks, the caves have Shiva Linga shrine that was worshiped in ancient times. We shall also stop by a seasonal waterfall in the vicinity. (Waterflow subject to season)

Stop At: Bramha Karmali-Shelphem Road, Bramha Karmali-Shelphem Rd, Naneli, Goa 403506, India

A temple dedicated to the lord of creation Brahma. This temple is located in a small serene village of Nagargao. The temple was shifted here from a town 30-40kms away, to safeguard it from the Portuguese inquisition.

Visit a local home in this village. Partake in a small cooking session in a very humble local kitchen. Eat on a banana leaf (Optional) and listen to our local village host sing songs to you while she demonstrates grinding rice flour on a traditional grinding stone mill.

This is a mosque with a shrine dedicated to Pir (saint) on the banks of Mandovi river. Interestingly the mosque has a temple-like tank in front of it and the locals of the village are leading by an example of communal harmony with a tradition of partaking in each others ceremonies.
