Golf in Lucknow

Lucknow, the city of the Nawabs, also has a little known association with its colonial past. After Calcutta, it was here that the second golf club was founded in India - La Martiniere Golf Club. Spend a morning teeing off on this lush green golf course and add another historical golf course to your ‘traveled’ list.

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and driven to the Lucknow Golf Club, formerly known as La Martiniere Golf Club.

The Golf Course is spread over 70 acres.  It offers 9 holes, par 71 challenging golf course, and measures 6391 yards. The course features lush green fairways, large old trees, and two water hazards. The best and the longest hole on the golf course is hole 07 that plays 584 yards from Men’s tee.

As you continue with the game, take in the sights and sounds of birds that flock to this area. The sounds of the morning assembly from the adjacent school are a pleasant reminder of a not so distant past. Take time to get acquainted with your fellow golfers and learn more about the local history of the city.

After you finish your game, you may also take breakfast (own expense) at the Club.

At the end of the morning session, you will be driven back to your hotel.
