Great Keppel Island Day Trip Bundle from Yeppoon

Ferry transfers depart from Keppel Bay Marina, located just outside Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast. Ferry departs every day at 9am on the summer timetable (September 1 to March 31) or 9:30am on the winter timetable (April 1 to August 31) and a mere 30 minute ferry journey will transport you to the picture perfect paradise that is Great Keppel Island.

Upon arrival, your day can pan out as you choose, with no strict order of the day. You may opt for the activity first and jump on a paddle board or kayak for an hour to work up an appetite or alternatively head off and explore the abundant bush walking tracks and secluded beaches, leaving the activity until after lunch.

Lunch is served at Great Keppel Island Hideaway's bar & bistro from 12pm-2pm every day, select a burger of your choice from their menu - the full works "Hideaway Beef Burger" is highly recommended.

The rest of your afternoon is your free time to relax, explore or play, with ample knowledgeable local characters to point you in the direction of a quirky bay, lookout point or a decent deckchair.  

Keppel Konnections Ferry departs Great Keppel Island at 4pm every day, with late services being offered Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
