Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Karatu

Stop At: Karatu, Karatu, Arusha Region
Kilimanjaro airport – Karatu 2 h. transfer

Program: Pick up customers at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Karatu by private car for overnight. 

Activities: If you have time you can stop at local market on the way, otherwise you can relax at the lodge.

Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
Karatu - Tarangire 1 h. transfer

Program: After breakfast we drive to Tarangire Park for the game drive with pic-nic lunch.

Activities: game drive.

Tarangire is the river crossing Tarangire National Park, the park is famous for big herds of elephants, the huge baobab trees and the high number of predators. There is a lot to see and explore here.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Stop At: Migration at Serengeti National Park, Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Karatu – Ngorongoro – Serengeti 3 h. transfer

Program: After breakfast we leave Karatu village and and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed  to Serengeti moving north to Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions looking for the Great Migration. Here we explore for these 2 days.

Activities: game drive.

In Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions in North Serengeti we can spot the Great Migration during summer (July to October), the herds move north and aggregate before crossing Mara River full of big crocodiles.

Program: After breakfast we leave the area of Lobo, Bologonya and Mara in the northern Serengeti and dedicate the day for game drive to the the central Serengeti.

Activities: game drive

The Serengeti Park is the most beautiful park in all of Africa, a boundless plain that you can admire from the lookout point at Naabi gate. The Great Migration moves in the park in search of fresh pastures through the rivers infested with crocodiles. It is the best park to spot felines and predators in general.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Program: After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, today we descend into Ngorongoro crater for game drive with pic-nic lunch. 

Activities: game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Maasai and their livestock live together with wild animals.
