Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Ouarzazate
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Your excursion will start at 7:20 am in Marrakech and will continue towards the Dades Gorges. You will travel first by road and make a first stop in the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Stop At: Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate, Souss-Massa
The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, “the gateway to the desert” for lunch and exploration. At the end of the day, you will finally reach the valley of the Dades gorges, where you can enjoy a typical Moroccan dinner. Spend the night in a small hotel or inn and admire an extraordinary view of the valley landscapes.
Note: During the second weekend of May and the last two days the famous Rose Festival takes place, so if you are lucky enough to travel through this time, you can take advantage!

Day 2: Merzouga - Erfoud
Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Your second day will start with a traditional Moroccan lunch at the inn before getting ready for departure to the Saharan village of Merzouga, via the Toudra Gorge. On the way, you will discover many Berber villages and the colorful landscapes of the region. The crossing of the Toudra Gorge is 300 meters above the river, so be careful when looking down!

Stop At: Erfoud, Erfoud, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Lunch will take place on the road, then you will arrive at the town of Erfoud, well known for its marine fossils which date back several hundred million years. As soon as the evening approaches, you can enjoy a 1.5 hour camel ride to Merzouga, where you can watch the beautiful sunset descend behind the sand dunes. To end this beautiful day, you can enjoy a good dinner in a camp under the stars in the sky of Merzouga.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi
Stop At: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
On the third day you will wake up at 6:30 am to contemplate the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, which is definitely the best time in the Merzouga desert to take pictures! You can also enjoy a typical Berber breakfast in the camp before returning by camel to the hostel in Merzouga to take a shower. You will then travel to Marrakech via the incredible Draa Valley, passing through Tazzarine, Agdz and Ouarzazate, and traveling through the eternal pass of Tizi n'Tichka and its panoramic views.
