At the prearranged start time, your tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in the Grand Anse area or from the cruise port. Meet your local driver-guide and jump aboard the air-conditioned coach for an informative and fun filled tour of Grenada!

First make a 30-minute stop at Fort Frederick to take in its panoramic views of Grenada's southern peninsulas and learn about the 1983 US led intervention when the revolution of 1979 went south!  Great history surrounds this magnificent French fort.

Next, the 15-minute drive to St Paul's offers picturesque scenery and passes through some residential areas on your way to DeLaGrenade Industries. Spend 30 minutes here and sample several award-winning jams and jellies, as well as their famed nutmeg liqueur and nutmeg syrup. You will also get to sample an energy drink made from algae, which the islanders believe to boost virility. See firsthand how the spice trees grow in the adjoining garden.

Head next to historic St George's (a 20-minute drive), with its naturally beautiful volcanic harbor. St George's is known as the Portofino of the Caribbean.  Your guide points out the Bianca C monument  - given to the Grenadian people for rescuing passengers off the burning  Costa Cruise line ship from the outer harbour in 1962 -  which is now a fantastic diving site!  Your guide will take you into the bustling, colorful market to experience a market day in Grenada. Spend about 45 minutes here. A cool Carib, the local beer, can be enjoyed, at your own expense, in the shade of the historic buildings of the market, or you can visit one of the nearby art galleries or the museum.  Better still sample mouthwatering Grenada chocolate at the Chocolate Museum and enjoy their short and informative from bean to bar, chocolate making tour,

Finally, head for Clarke's Court Rum Distillery, which makes 19 different products, all of which can be sampled at their visitors center.

Your tour concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel or the cruise port.  Arrangements can be made to end the tour on Grand Anse Beach where cruise guests have the option of returning to the ship by water taxi for an addition small fee.

Please note: A minimum of four people per booking is required.
