Half-Day Faial Island Tour from Horta

Depart from Horta Hotel, and head out, rising to Espalamaca beachhead. Stop at the Nossa Sra. Conceição (Our Lady of Conceição) viewpoint overlooking Horta and north side of the island. Proceed through the Flemings Valley towards Faial Caldeira (extinct volcano on the center of the island).  After, head towards to the north of the island, traveling between green pastures cut by hydrangeas to arrive at a viewpoint overlooking the Fajã da Praia do Norte. You will see the Capelo parish where you can visit the Capelinhos volcano and a regional arts and crafts school. Here you can learn about the regional arts and spend time shopping for some of the creative items available. The last stop will be at Monte da Guia where another viewpoint will show you the south area of the island. Once complete, you will return to your hotel back in Horta.
