Half Day Living Land Rice Farming Experience

One day combination package that consists of half day “Rice Farming Experience w/ Lao Specialty Organic Lunch” in Living Land Farm and "Kuang Si Waterfalls"

Hand on experience of growing, harvesting and cooking sticky rice, “Kau Niau”, finishing with a degustation of some rice based specialities.

- Up to 5 guests: cancellation within 48 hours of the start of the Rice Experience: - 100% charge
- More than 5 guests: cancellation within 7 days of the start of the Rice Experience: 100% charge

Itinerary

Stop At: The Living Land Farm, Khuangsi Water Fall Road Ban Phong Van Village, Luang Prabang 0600 Laos

This charming community farm just outside of Luang Prabang overlooks wonderful Rice Fields and Mountains. Rice is planted all year round and they welcome guests who want to learn about Rice planting and other farm activities like bamboo weaving, sugar cane pressing, black smithing. The half day programme starts at 08.30 and finishes with a tasting of rice based snacks. After farming experience, we have lunch in the farm (a selection of typical Luang Prabang dishes and fruit.)

Proceeds from the Rice Experience go to supporting over 60 students with their studies and they operate free English classes for the whole village.

Stop At: Kuang Si Falls, Luang Prabang 06000 Laos

If you choose an option visiting waterfalls in the afternoon, our minivan pickup you from Living Land at around 2pm. Return to the city at 5:30-6:00pm

The Kuang Si Falls, sometimes spelled Kuang Xi or known as Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, is a three levelled waterfall about 29 kilometres (18 mi) south of Luang Prabang.
