Sete Cidades lagoon is located on the wonderful island of São Miguel, is one of the most famous places in the Archipelago of the Azores, and once observed, we understand why.
This is the largest freshwater lake in the Azores, located in the volcanic craters that form the island, consisting of two lagoons (the Green Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon) that promote a scenario of extreme and indescribable beauty.

On this tour, we will go along the dirt tracks starting at the crater of Lagoas das Empadadas volcano and then we will head towards the top of the caldera where we will be 856m high at Pico da Cruz where you will be able to see some lagoons such as the famous Lagoa das Sete Cidades, green and blue lagoon, Rasa lagoon and Santiago lagoon. Continuing our adventure along the top of the caldera with magnificent landscapes, we will have several stops including the Miradouro das Cumeeiras, a place where we will have a view over the entire caldera of Sete Cidades, lagoons, and the village itself.
