Hiking: Authentic immersion in Mafate

We will gather at the foot of the track 4X4 of the river of Galets, privileged gate of our immersion Mafataise. The adventure begins with 30min of track, encircled by the impressive ramparts. Arrived at the end, we will start on a regular trail, several times fording the river. The opportunity for your guide to tell you the geological formation of this piece of volcano. And then, especially, the history of the circus population: such as the first "chestnuts", we will enter the walls to the heart of the circus. Remains of ancient and recent history, we will trace these traces to the first "Ilet", these villages living in autonomy forever, where the past mingles with the present, or time itself seems to have stopped. After a snack in the ilet, we will make the return trip, passing to the nearest river, where we will enjoy a refreshing pool. Return by 4x4 track.

Remains of ancient and recent history, we will trace these traces to the first "Ilets", these villages living in autonomy since always, where the past mingles with the present, or time itself seems to have stopped. After a snack in the ilet, we will make the return trip, passing to the nearest river, where we will enjoy a refreshing pool. Back by the track 4x4, abandoning our soul of brown, towards the return to civilization.
