Day 1: Meeting in Sinaia (no hiking)
Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Today we will visit few sights in the beautiful winter resort of Sinaia.
Time to meet our history and for planning our next two days hiking adventure.
Dinner on our owns in a local restaurant - traditional Romanian meal.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Manastirea Sinaia, Manastirii 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Very close to Peles Castle you can also visit Sinaia Monastery - an even older monument. This is also the site giving the name of the city. The entire story you can find it when visiting the site.

Day 2: From Sinaia to Bran, across Bucegi Mountains
Stop At: Bucegi Mountains, Main Steet, Sinaia 106100 Romania
First part of the route is climbing to 2000m altitude with a cable car from Sinaia city center. From here, on Bucegi Plateau, the route is easy. Approximately after two hours of hiking, our first stop is Babele Hut (2,300m altitude), visiting the natural monuments "The Grannies" and "The Sphinx". A good place for taking photos in front of the funny sculpted rocks.
You can also have a tea/beer/coffee at the restaurant nearby.

Stop At: Bucegi Mountains, Main Steet, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Continuing our route for another 2-3 hours, we arrive our highest point. At 2,504m altitude, Omu Peak is the highest altitude we will reach before descending in Bran - our final destination.
There is a hut with restaurant on top of the mountain where we can have lunch and snacks before continuing our route.
From here, a long descent to Bran is following for about 5 hours, descending from 2500m to 400m altitude.
Here we can stop for a lunch and a hot tea.

Bran Castle - aka "the Dracula Castle" lays in the beautiful village of Bran.
After a long descent from Omu Peak we will reach the village of Bran. In the heart of the city we find (probably) the most popular attraction in Romania - Bran Castle. Known mainly for the fantastic stories around it, the old fortress real story is hidden between the thick walls. You are invited to find this story in a guided visit.
If our arrival is too late we will visit the castle the next day.
