It is about a 1.5 hour drive to the Entrance of the Ming Tombs-Sacred Way.
Sacred Way: The 7-km scenic drive has 18 pairs of life-size marble animal statues that guard the thirteen Ming tombs. This is the "sacred way" where the deceased emperors were carried to their tombs.
Ming Tombs of Dingling: The 13th Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yijun, was buried together with his two empresses. It is an underground palace and is the only tomb that has been excavated and can be seen by the public.
Lunch: Enjoy typical Chinese cuisine at a local restaurant (Vegetarian option available).
After lunch, we will drive to the Great Wall of Longquanyu: Your opportunity to see one of the Great Wonders of the World. This section is more beautiful and less crowded than other sections of the Great Wall.
Your driver will take you back to the city to your hotel.
