Stop At: Paramo de Sumapaz, Bogota Colombia
Very few speak of visitors and foreigners from the south of Bogotá, in these neighborhoods thousands of Colombians have migrated due to the armed conflict in Colombia. There lives 30% of the population of the city. We will visit Ciudad Bolívar where we will meet community leaders who will tell us the history of this neighborhood and the conflicts that its inhabitants must live.
We will continue the tour and leave behind the urban area of Bogotá and know its fields where they grow food such as potatoes, peas, strawberries, milks and many other products. Then, we will leave the car on a farm to walk an 8 km path, from 3,372 m.a.s.l. until 3,775 m.a.s.l., on this road we will arrive at a magical place, a paradise that keeps the secrets of the Ubchiqua Lagoon that means where it is heard to find the advice of the grandmothers mountains, here we will know the largest moor in the world, Sumapaz. This walk will last three and a half hours, we will finish at the starting point to return again to the city center.
