Hike to the top of "Pic Saint Loup" and wine tasting at a winery

In this small group half-day tour from Montpellier, explore the region's countryside. Have an active taste of south of France, including a hike to the top of Pic St Loup and a wine tasting at a local winery.

Your guide will pick you up in Montpellier at your hotel or at a central place and will take you to the countryside of Montpellier. You can see the mountain peak from different part of the city.....but why not hiking to the top !!! Follow the scenic roads of the city and its region until your starting hiking point after a 30-minutes drive. By your own, it will take you around 1h to 1h30 minutes to reach the summit of the mountains. It's an easy but steep and stony path. Don't forget to wear good walking shoes, your water and, if wanted your picnic (not included). Once you have reached the top, you won't be disappointed as the view is breathtaking over the south of France.

Now it's time to start the descent. Your guide will drive you to a boutique-winery where you will have an introduction to local wines. Meet the winemaker that will share his knowledge with you and make you taste his wine. When your visit finishes, your guide will drive you back to Montpellier.
