The white temple(Wat Rong Khun)is a unique temple that stands out through the white color and the use of pieces of glass in the design, sparkling in the sun.

The white color signifies the purity of the Buddha, while the glass symbolizes Buddha’s wisdom and the Dhamma, which is the Buddhist teachings.

Stop At: Wat Rong Seur Ten (Blue Temple), 306, Moo 2 Maekok Rd Rim Kok, Chiang Rai 57100 Thailand

(Wat Rong Suea Ten) commonly referred to as the Blue Temple, its monastery and pagoda were built upon the ruins of an ancient temple, abandoned 80 to 100 years prior.

It was established as a devotional center for meditation, prayer and worship, as they did not have a sacred space for merit-making (earning good karma points) in the village.
