Stop At: Ruta del Vino Utiel-Requena, Calle Cuesta de Las Carnicerias 9, 46340, Requena Spain

Start this tour with the visit of a historic winery in the center of Requena (located an hour from Valencia). You will discover the old underground caves from the Muslim era (12th and 13th centuries). These caves were previously used to preserve crops, as silos and winery. After this underground visit, you will taste two wines in the modern part of the bodega. The visit will be done in English.
After this historic moment, we take you a few kilometers further, to another winery of the appellation Utiel-Requena. Here, it is up to you: the idea is to do a tasting of three wines according to your tastes and preferences. You will choose between three whites, three reds and three cavas or a white, a red and a cava. In this winery no visit of the infrastructures will be carried out.

To accompany the wine tasting, you will have at your disposal explanatory documents (in English) of each wine chosen with some explanation of the production, the varieties, etc. The tasting can be done in the Winebar or outside, next to the vineyards. To accompany this tasting you will have a local cold meats platter. It’s a good way to end this wine tour according to your tastes!
