Hoi An Boat Trip

Alongside the development of the old town of Hoi An, traditional craft villages started to bloom. The commercial harbour at Hoi An reached its zenith at the beginning of the seventeenth century thanks largely to the quality of goods from Quang region. Over the centuries, at this port, various types of goods such as swallows’ nest, sea-food, village handicrafts, sculpture and pottery have been bought by traders and exported to the four corners of the globe.

Mosts tourists who come to Hoi An are struck by the huge array of beautiful products on sale in the shops or boutique, many of these are made at Kim Bong carpentry village and are endowed with deep cultural significance. The red ceramics from Thanh Ha village are mainly used as household culinary utensils... and more interesting places such as: fishing village, coconut Village (Cam Thanh Village with many interesting thing on water way)

Our Boat will pick you up at the hotel and walk to the port after passing the ancient town where guests embark on the boat. On the way you can enjoy the busy daily life of Hoian people. Depart for Thanh Ha pottery village where you can learn and enjoy the daily life of Thanh Ha people. Observing the steps of making a pottery product: vase, pot, kettle, cooking pot,… Continue boarding more 30 minutes to opposite land of Thu Bon River for Kim Bong Village. Have an introduction walk during which the guide will explain the story of Kim Bong Village. Throughout the walk you will have the possibility to admire the shipbuilding area where wooden fishing vessels are built using traditional techniques. You will also make a stop in the carpentry workshop where carpenters create hand crafted furniture and sculptures as well as a range of souvenirs. Then our Boat will take you go to see fishing Village, Thanh Nam Village, on the way you can see the beautiful lanscape, remember bring your camera to take photos. Then take you to see the harbour where the River meet the Ocean with amazing view, after that you will really enjoy the atmosphere at coconut village, then have meal to enjoy with local foods
