• Stop at Lap An Lagoon which sits just north of the Hai Van Pass. Surrounded by mountainous views, it is famous for its oysters or "jewels of heaven" by locals.
• Arrive at the Imperial Citadel in Hue city. Explore the home of the last emperor in Vietnam, the Nguyen Dynasty. The Citadel is surrounded by a 2 square kilometer moat and inside the walls contains the Forbidden Purple City, which had restricted access to anyone but the Imperial family.
• Take a break at a local specialty restaurant in Hue city
