Hondarribia Food Tour from San Sebastian

A must do activity from San Sebastian. We will drive east from San Sebastian into one of the most charming fisherman villages on the Basque Coast: Hondarribia (Fuenterrabia). After a short and entertaining guided city tour through the medieval streets of the village, we will then spend some time discovering the gastronomic wealth of Hondarribia.

Available for lunch or dinner, this tour takes you on a stroll through the cobbled streets of the town and later to enjoy some of the best (award-winning) pintxos (Basque tapas) and drinks served in the famous bars lining the neighborhood of La Marina, the colorful fishermen's quarter of the village.

Hondarribia (Fuenterrabia) is probably one of the most charming villages on the Basque coast. Its spectacular historical quarter with cobbled streets is located inside a one-of-a-kind walled enclosure in Gipuzkoa and its elegant buildings contrast with the colorful houses of the fishermen’s quarter (La Marina).

Having visited the main points of interest of the village, we will discover another of its greatest attractions: its gastronomy. We will explore the neighborhood of La Marina on a tour of some of the best pintxo bars in the Basque Country, given that the bars of Hondarribia (Fuenterrabia) have won the Basque Country Pintxos Championship up to four times. We will taste some of the best Basque pintxos paired with drinks in the gastronomically awarded bars of the village. Without a doubt, it is a destination that has nothing to envy from San Sebastian.
