Hook-a-Barra at the award-winning Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm offers fishers and non-fishers the chance to catch one of Queensland's most iconic fish in an idyllic tropical setting.

The Hook-a-Barra fishing experience lasts for one hour and includes an Introduction to Barramundi Fishing tuition session; all equipment; catch and release pond fishing; assistance from our expert fishing guides and access to special viewing tanks.

Hook-a-Barra's ponds are filled with over 1500 barramundi and other species ranging from 50cm to over 1 metre, but these fish are not trained to jump on your rod, so you'll get plenty of tips to perfect your technique.

Hook-a-Barra is suitable for all ages and abilities with a huge range of tackle and a fly-fishing option for expert anglers, plus everything a beginner needs to get hooked!

Non-fishing guests are also welcome with a general admission ($10 payable on arrival) providing full use of all facilities, picnic area and viewing tanks.
