Immense and breathtaking Issyk Kul lake in 1day

This brilliant 1 day tour is an absolute gem for those who want to see one of the most beautiful lakes in the world but has a limited time in Kyrgyzstan. When gliding along the endless blue water on the boat you will admit that the distance you’ve just gone through to get here was absolutely worth it! Today you will feed your soul at the sites like Burana Tower, Historical museum and Rukh Ordo, try the national cuisine and make lifetime memories on the lake itself!

Stop At: Burana Tower, Don-Aryk, Tokmok 722201 Kyrgyzstan

In the morning we shall set off for our voyage to Issyk Kul lake (250km). On the way, stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site Burana Tower. This ancient structure dates back to the 11th century so it’s really worth your visit. We shall spend around 30 minutes here contemplating splendid views from the top of the tower, walking around to see the balbals (ancient stones with the depictions) and visiting the archaeology museum with the antique artifacts. Resuming our way to Issyk Kul.

Stop At: Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan

Upon arrival in Cholpon Ata (central town of the lake’s northern coast) we’ll visit the Historical Museum where you can trace the entire history of Kyrgyzstan in a matter of minutes. Lunch at the restaurant. Now it’s time for the cherry on the cake - a stunning boat ride out on the lake. After roaming 8km the boat will stop at the depth of 150m. In the hot season (May-September) you can dive into the water and enjoy the surreal swim (life jackets provided). In the other seasons you will have no less beautiful time on the boat.

After this gorgeous experience we’re heading to another fancy place - spiritual center Rukh Ordo which is dedicated to the 5 main religions in the world. Here you will find a great peace of meditation. Return to Bishkek.

We’ll arrive in the city at 9-10pm and after the beautiful day full of experiences you’re gonna be so pleasantly tired. That’s where our tour ends. Drop off at a hotel. Have a good night!
