Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Km. 104 – Wiñayhuayna – Aguas Calientes
Pass By: Winay Wayna, Machu Picchu Peru
At 4.30 in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel, from where we will head in our own transport to the train station in the small town of Ollantaytambo. From the station, we will take the train as far as Km. 104, where our Inca Trail adventure will begin. During the route, we will be able to enjoy beautiful scenery. Our walk will begin with the check at the control point, where we must show all the necessary permits and our passports, before beginning the ascent along beautiful trails, where we can appreciate beautiful orchids. The route will continue with a visit to Wiñayhuayna (“Always young”). Some experts believe this was the house of Machu Picchu’s ancient priests. During the route, we will enjoy fantastic views, including the majestic Urubamba River and the high cloud forest. we will continue one hour to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) Continuing along the trail, we will have our first view of the Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary, enjoying views of the archaeological site as we continue on our way to the small town of Aguas Calientes. Overnight at a hostel selected by the agency.

Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes – Cusco
Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
Early in the morning, at 4:30 a.m., you will have the opportunity to go up to Machu Picchu to see the sunrise, and to begin your guided tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu. This tour will take between 90 minutes and two hours, after which you will be able to continue exploring the Inca citadel independently, before returning at around midday to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch, before taking the return train to the village of Ollantaytambo, and a bus to Cusco.
