Interlaken Private Tour: Mountains Cows, Thun Lake, and Brienz Lake

Explore the lakes of Interlaken – which literally means "between the lakes" – on this 2-hour private tour. Visit Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and visit a traditional Swiss cow farm near the village of Wilderswil. This is a private tour for up to 13 people.

Get picked up from your Interlaken hotel at 9am and travel to Lake Thun, around a 10-minute drive away. This sapphire-blue alpine lake is fed by water from Lake Brienz to the southeast, and various streams in the Oberland. Enjoy 15 minutes to stretch your legs on Neuhaus beach, which runs alongside the lake, or perhaps relax with a coffee or ice-cream (own expense).

Continue to a traditional cow farm near the village of Wilderswil, which is pretty as a postcard with its charming old Swiss chalets. Meet the farmer, explore the farm, and see the animals. 

The last stop is Lake Brienz in Bönigen, a 8.7 mile (14km) long lake nestled between the Swiss mountains. Soak up the panoramic views before your drivers takes you back to your hotel in Interlaken, arriving at approximately 11am.
