We are have two (2) suggested starts; 8:30 am and a 1:15 pm. From the cruise port its a short drive through the city center up to Morne Fortune the area of the fourteenth (14th) battle between French and British. There is still so much history in that area; the military baraks, mess hall, soldier quarters, horse stables, prisons, the list goes on.
From there its a fifteen (15) minute drive to Marigot Bay for more sightseeing and some amazing views of the bay from the view point. Nick-named hurricane hole, Marigot Bay is a yachters paradise. Nice bay, yachting facilities and a host of restaurants in and around the bay are just some of the things that keep people coming back to the area.
Our final stops would be the banana plantation where we do a little "banana 101" which by the end you should be able to grow your own bananas at home.
Finally a walk around the fishing village of Anse-La-Raye where we do some more sightseeing and see what village activities are taking place. When there's fishing or mending of nets the village can be a buzz.
