Amman city tour begins at Amman citadel –also known as Jebel AlQalaea- the most famous and well know spot of city, Citadel is one of seven mounts occupy the capital city of Amman which has many parts dated back to the B.C periods, besides temple of great Hercules, Ayyubaid watching tower, and the great hand statue.
Next, you will visit the circle-half shaped roman theatre which dated back to ancient Roman times and was used to be used for concerts and musical shows. Theatre is up to 6000 persons and is still used until today for the same purpose.
After that we will visit the Archeological museum which houses ancient valuable objects and artifacts from ancient eras.
Finally we will shop some of traditional bazaars of city.

Leave to the north on the ruins of Jerash, one of the best examples in the Middle East of a Greek-Roman regional city. At the entrance to the site, enjoy hadrian's arch, built in 129 AD to celebrate the visit of Emperor Hadrian, back to Amman.

Start with Amman city tour to explore Amman city sightseeing. Amman is a bustling modern city. The historical places are located in downtown, where we visit the Citadel with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period. Then we have a visit to the Archaeological Museum, housing an excellent collection of several Dead Sea Scrolls. We stroll via the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, to the Roman Theater from the 2nd century with 6000 seats.

Jerash is an amazing blend of Greco-Roman and Oriental influences. A great place to visit during the spring with its beautiful rolling hills and lush greenery, Jerash has a rhythm not seen anywhere else in Jordan. Also, every year Jerash hosts the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts, a three week summer program filled with folk dance, music, and theatrical performances.
