Jungle Crocodile Safari and Bird Watching Tour

On this 2-hour hour you'll explore Tarcoles River, gliding in a comfortable and safe boat as you learn about rich biodiversity of this region. You'll have a chance to see the magnificent, ancient reptiles that measure greater than 4 meters in length, and spot more than 50 bird species.

This tour also includes a taste of delicious Costa Rican coffee and other tropical refreshments.The dock is wheelchair accessible, with WiFi access, souvenir shop, private parking facilities, and welcoming gardens.

The Jungle Crocodile Safari & Bird Watching Tour departs daily at 8:30am, 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. Different departure hours can be arranged for private groups. The tour lasts about two hours.

As you explore the Tarcoles River with a bilingual (English and Spanish) guide, you will gaze on crocodiles and dozens of bird species. If you're an experienced birder you may see around 100 bird species, including resident and migratory, terrestrial and coastal ones.
