Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup from your centrally located Rotorua accommodation to our starting point at the famous historical Rotorua Museum. Before we journey, take part in a short safety briefing and get some local knowledge of the historical significance of the Museum and the Fenton Agreement. Then, you’ll be ready for your 3-hour guided tour to our whenua (land) Pukahukiwi, hosgted by our wonderful Māori guide.

Our place, is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Te Roto-Whaiti-i-kite-ai-a-Ihenga-i-Ariki-ai-a Kahumatamoemoe (Lake Rotoiti), adjacent to the Okere River, where we belong.  Discover where our tūpuna (ancestors) settled from the comfort of a luxurious 4WD vehicle, seating up to six.  An amazing Maori guide from our whānau (family) will lead this very personal and intimate experience; sharing stories of our people’s history with you, even laughing and crying with you as they reveal the wairua - spiritual essence - of this land and its people.
