Kakheti One Day Tour: Telavi-Kvareli-Signagi and Wine Tasting

Wine tasting tour in Kakheti includes to visit the historical sightseeing and famous wineries of Kakheti. During the trip tourists will visit: Ujarma fortress, Shuamta monasteries, Telavi Kingdom city, Ikalto Monastery, Alaverdi Cathedral, Winery in Tsinandali and Alexandre Chavchavadze home museum, Gremi Palace, Kvareli wineries. Visiting of the historical sightseeing may take nearby half an hour. Visiting of the wineries may take one hour or more. During the tour tourists will have to taste local famous wine, have a lunch or dinner local restaurants.

Tour will start at 9.00 am from your hotel. After one hour of driving we visit Ujarma fortress, built in V century by the King Vakhtang V. Next stop is Shuamta monasteries of VI-XVII centuries, with 30 minutes driving on the Gombori high pass mountains. After Shuamta monastery we visit Telavi Kingdom City, Palace and monument of the last famous King of Georgia Erekle II. From Telavi we visit next places: Ikalto monastery and academy of VI-XI centuries, Alaverdi Cathedral of XI century, Tsinandali winery and Alexandre Chavchavadze home museum of XIX century, Gremi Palace of X-XVII centuries, Ilia's lake, famous wineries of Kvareli. 

Tour will be provided by small car sedan for 1-4 people or minivan for 5-6 people. Fuel price is included in the tour's price. Please note that restaurant fee for lunch or diner, as well as entrance fee at museums or wine tasting are not included in the tour's price. So please have some cash money for restaurant or entrance fee.
